Prejuvenation

Facial Near MePrejuvenation is the latest buzzword in the cosmetic industry. Prejuvenation is for younger people. Its link between prevention and rejuvenation. Basically, rejuvenation focuses on restoration, while prejuvenation focuses on preventing or delaying the aging process.

Many young people are undergoing cosmetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, Radiofrequency procedures such as ThermiTight, ThermiSmooth to prevent or delay the aging process. In a recent study, 64 percent of surgeons report an increase in cosmetic surgery or injectable treatments in the under 30 crowd.

Many Prejuvenation procedures are designed to increase collagen production, support elastin function, and preserve facial volume. Botox or Dysport, when performed early as a preventative measure, can train facial muscles that cause wrinkles to move less, thus preventing facial wrinkles before they start.

Where Should I get Prejuvenation?

Everyone is getting in on the cash business of cosmetic medicine. There are plenty of untrained providers, many are not even board certified in Plastic Surgery. There is no shortage of daily deal, salons, and home parties offering discount injectables, patients have to be very careful when it comes to deciding who will do these procedures. We highly recommend seeking the services of a board-certified plastic surgeon. Choose your doctor based on qualifications, not price to stay safe and get the results you’re looking for.

Prejuvenation treatments

Below are a few examples of prejuvenation treatments available today:

  • Botox: Botox is one of the most common procedures we perform. Botox injections can prevent or delay the formation of fine lines and wrinkles, especially on the forehead and around the eyes.
  • Microneedling: This non-invasive treatment helps increase cellular turnover, which helps fade the first signs of aging (fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and even acne scars)
  • VI Peel: Vi Peel a one of the chemical peels we offer. This peel will stimulate the production of collagen, for firmer, and more youthful skin
  • ThermiSmooth: This RF treatment is used for skin-tightening. Thermismooth treatment can increase collagen levels, which makes up for your body’s declining production.
