Is Daxxify safe?

Yes! Daxi is FDA approved for the wrinkles treatment. Its safety profile has been well established in the largest clinical trial ever conducted for a frown line treatment. The active ingredient in Daxxify is botulinum toxin type A (Same as BOTOX ®, also available at Amachi Medspa) an ingredient that has been used in aesthetics for more than 20 years and is well studied for use as a frown line treatment.

Do side effects last longer with Daxxify?

The side effects are very similar to the other neuromodulators such as BOTOX ®. The most common side effects observed in clinical trials occurred within one to two weeks after injection and lasted only a short while. However, side effects may last weeks to more than a month.

What makes Daxxify™ different from Botox® & other neuromodulators?

Daxxify works the same as other neuromodulators such as Botox®, however, instead of using human serum albumin as a stabilizer, Daxxify ™ uses Peptide Exchange Technology™, or PXT which contributes to its longevity. Daxxify™ is also called the Vegan toxin. It does not have any human or animal products.

Daxxify™ lasts an average of 6 months and up to 9 months for some patients. Patients can achieve year-long results with as few as two treatments.

Is Daxxify™ more expensive?

Daxxify™ is may seem slightly more expensive initially, but it lasts on average 6 months and up to 9 months in some patients. It last at least twice as Botox®. However, you are getting the treatment twice yearly instead of 4 times a year. Hence, the average cost per year may be the same.
